OUR STORY

Journey

I started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu back in 2010, chasing a dream of becoming a professional fighter. What began as a pursuit of combat quickly became something much deeper. After a powerful encounter with faith, I was born again—and from that transformation, Art of Submission was born. This gym is more than a space to train—it’s a reflection of my walk, my purpose, and my commitment to serve others.

submission

Submission is at the heart of both Jiu-Jitsu and the Christian faith. On the mats, we learn to submit physically. In life, I’ve learned to submit spiritually—to let go of control and walk in trust. At AOS, I teach that true strength comes through surrender—not from weakness, but from humility, wisdom, and growth. That’s what we live by here.

PURPOSE

I built this academy to help people grow—mentally, physically, and spiritually. Whether it’s your first time training or you’re a seasoned athlete, AOS is a place where you’ll be challenged, supported, and sharpened. Everyone is welcome, but we hold a standard. We train hard, grow in faith, and walk out our purpose together.
